This was an unsuccessful attempt at making a radio controlled flying saucer with a .40 gas model airplane engine. The bottom of the craft contained two paddles that would try to compensate for engine torque and also allow for pitching and rotation of the craft. The torque problem was too great and the craft was never able to stabilize nor lift-off. The type of propeller used was probably too great in pitch and a custom propeller would perhaps helped the lifting and torque problem.
